FEARLESS Audio IEM's Discussion/Impressions

The **** cables are bad ... I have one too ... the connection is loose and the sound became muddy ... you get what you pay for ...
What do you use it with? S8f? Also **** has different types of the cables. Some are good match to your iem, some not.
If your iem tuned to work with certain type of cable, it needs that type of cable to sound its best. You can tweak it somewhat to your preference using similarly structured cables with slight differences. (Of course given that IEM tuned well)
Yes, QC may not be the best with chi-fi but materials are the same. Type of braid matters, People complained on ibasso it01 cable braided too loosely but IT"S DONE INTENTIONALLY. Braid tightness changing the sound, length, thickness of the insulation etc...
More expensive cable IS NOT better if it's not a good match!
What sounds best is subjective and the only thing that matters.
In a few days I will test it again with stock cable and will see what I'll prefer:vulcan:

I tried it with legend x too .. try a silver cable with the LX .. sounds way better.i use Effekt audio Thor silver 2 now with LX but you could check The new Fiio ls4.4D for example. I tried also with fearless acme8 too .. the worst part of the **** cable is the loose fit. One wrong turn and the cable is off .

I anticipate a challenge here as I'm notoriously sensitive to cable changing the sound and it looks like Roland that apparently is tuned to match 8core SPC will only sound its best with 8SPC with similar thickness and thread count.
In a few days I hopefully receive it and let cable swapping commence!
Surprisingly of all IEMs i've tried $500 ibasso it04 is among the pickiest about cables...
Or I will just replace damn connectors and call it a day:sunglasses:
My favorite combo ended up being an 8 core UP-OCC Gu.Crafstman copper cable. Second was 4 core 7N UP-OCC Electro Acousti, which I sent on when I sold my UIEM Roland set.

Thanks for the tip! I'll research/try that. I have LS2.5B, it's similar. But D looks like a good cable for it04. I just hate Fiio stiff ear hooks.
I think their quality has improved lately. I don't have looseness problem at all with ****, TRN is a bit worse.
Do you hear big difference between something from Fiio price range and Thor silver?

Thanks for the info! Nice cable, and reasonably priced. I'm not sure i'm willing to venture in the land of diminishing returns like Effect Audio, don't see a point. Chi fi quality doesn't bother me because I often build/fix it myself and I can tweak it to my liking.

Both of those are fairly reasonable and built very well. The 7N Neotech Electro Acousti is one of my favorite values in audio.

To be honest no , Fiio lc4.4D and thor2 are both awesome cables . You get a very clean uncolored sound with these .

Left is Thor 2 and right is 4.4D
The hooks are very comfy with these , soft and not so stiff . Recommend you to check it out with Lx :)

Anyone know if ordering a Roland as a ciem is worth it? Since it was designed originally as a Universal, does getting it custom fitted change the tuning via case design and stem length?

(custom fitted from Linsoul->Fearless Aduio themselves)

Assuming they are using sound tubes, and it looks like they are, they are basically just placing the same components into a custom shell. The questionable part is perhaps how they transfer the dynamic driver over. And Fearless handles all the customizations Linsoul basically just forward your order while translating for you.

More spice to add, not 100% accurate but you got the idea:
