I wonder what the Japanese company Roland think of Fearless putting "Roland" on their IEM. If I didn't already know Fearless and see Roland on an IEM, I would think of Roland the manufacturer of electronic musical instruments and equipment. I do own Roland musical instruments.

Funny you say that, because that was also the immediate response of people I mentioned these IEM's to: "Hmm...Isn't that a pro audio manufacturer...?".I wonder what the Japanese company Roland think of Fearless putting "Roland" on their IEM. Doubt its any issue though, as in this case, when you look at the name in the context of the name of the line; Paladin, and the others, Lancelot and La Hire: they're all names of famous French/Frankish medieval/renaissance knights/fighters - not technically paladins, but you get what they were going for. And it goes well with the Fearless name.

Ha that's funny. I immediately thought of the knight, even though I work in music and around Roland stuff all the time. I guess the literature side is stronger in the endFunny you say that, because that was also the immediate response of people I mentioned these IEM's to: "Hmm...Isn't that a pro audio manufacturer...?".

R5 has Google play, and M11 does not, so for me M11 is non starter, as I use Google music on the go and at work (Corporate IT has Tidal blocked on the net). I have left Spotify because on the high end gear OGG Vorbis compression artifacts are intolerable for me.Any Hiby R5 synergy pair here? That price looks tempting and ive tried M11 and didnt like it. Both are price almost the same, R5 is $100 cheaper.
And if R5 sounds even better than their new BT adapter W5 then moving to it might be actually an upgrade from old R6.

My only issue with the name is that in my native language it’s REALLY not a sexy name... it’s basically the equivalent of calling your new Ferrari the “Eustace” or “Donald”... No offense to anyone named that, but you know what I meanHa that's funny. I immediately thought of the knight, even though I work in music and around Roland stuff all the time. I guess the literature side is stronger in the end![]()

Anyway, putting it remotely close to the U12t at $1000 is a complete win in my book.
True enough..!

how's whirlwind? it looks like a wide bore. I just checked out from Amazon. Will compare it with spiral dotWhirlwinds are best tips I've found so far. Seal is so essential for bass on Fearless IEMs in particular, kind of strange, but worth finding a good match. I like these well enough I may sell them and get them in customs...

The upgrade option is available on the Linsoul site. I believe it's $100
OK Roland is what I'll be getting soon, but with fearless what I got so far there is a some cable and tips issues. So I'm looking for recommendations. For cable I'm willing to go up to $70-80 tops. ISN Audio C16 that HBBs rockin' in the review video looks solid, there is some other mentions in this thread I'm not sure about these?
And as for tips I'm more spinfits guy, foams are just not for me, can't stand squishing them prior inserting and waiting for them to expand. Dekoni which Z is praising are available to me at $26 for 3 pairs. I have no experience with them. Any thoughts on Dekoni or some other tips for Roland preferences to spinfits?
Thanx

If not for mma and my sometimes changing ear I would get customs of the Roland. I might do it anyway and just try not to get kicked and punched in the head too much.
