As a past owner of beats by dre studio, beats by dr dre tours, Bose ae2, klipsch image one, klipsch s4i and pretty much every headphone stocked at best buy, I decided I love my Audio Technica ATH-M50 the most.
I know, it took me all those mediocre headphones to finally try something good.

That's hard...I like my HD650's a lot. OTOH my HE5LE's are more detailed
and I love my ATH W1000's. It all depends on my mood and the music.

Had these since Summer of 2010 and haven't found a pair I liked more. Grado SR-225i came close.

My favorites are definitely my HD 600's, but there really isn't much competition, as the only other headphones I've owned are Sennheiser HD 428's, Beats Solo HD, and various cheap earbuds and a couple pairs of Skullcandies.

Is it really an upgrade from the HD600 to the HD650. Which one is more comfy?

Ahhh the SR-225i came second I'm assuming? The 225i came first for me. For home, SR225i. For portable (headphone), HD-25-ii. My vintage K141 comes after the Grados

thats cool. Ive always wanted to hear the Grado sound just have heard the comfort isnt something to write home about.

For my grados, I use the Reverse bowl mod and it makes the comfort 5000 times better because my ears no longer touch the hard surface. Also use the tape mod. Both actually improves the sound surprisingly.

Edition 8 by a wide margin.  They are most closely followed by the V Moda M80.  I am like tdockweiler with his DJ100...my Edition 8's have put a smile on my face since the minute they came out of the box.

Must say my Technics RP-DJ1200 are probably my long-time favorite.  Exteremely portable, balanced but fun and for the price i got it ($40)...if only it had more bass extension.
