I’m glad many people addressed this comment.Since meanwhile it's more than a handful of people getting hands on their "very own" Odyssey - still waiting for mine - I'd like to know about the 'value' of a comment/statement I found below an Odyssey YT Review:
...
"At the official presentation of these earphones by a respected headphone specialist, we were very interested with 25 people present to see how the Odyssey would do in direct comparison with the Odin and the rest of the Empire-Ear portfolio.
Well, none of us could give a verdict, because these plugs are so big and unergonomically shaped that really none of us could achieve a proper seal.
For the boneconductor, however, it is absolutely necessary to have a solid contact with the auricle, which is not possible due to the shape and size, so the bass reproduction was completely inadequate.
We all agreed that these earphones are the most expensive hi-fi blunders of the year. Sorry"
...
Just want to get a better picture about who actually is creating the 'blunder'...
Thanks in advance for your feedback.
So now that others already weighed in… this is one of the dumbest comments I’ve ever seen. It’s an obvious attempt to sabotage EE. I’m over 100% positive Dean and Jack are more than qualified to understand the science considering this is what they do everyday for the last umpteen years. Doubt they would produce an IEM with millions of dollars and years of R&D into a concept that they defeated intentionally by design. Come TF on..
