so i decided to take out my Hidition NT6 (i had bought back in 2016) after being so long out of use due to Zeus XR , to see how it would fare against Zeus and this is one fine ciem indeed

compared to Zeus XR, i feel that NT6

a)has better,more textured bass (but far from being a bass monster)
b) the drums also have a better sense of slam/decay (zeus sounds sometimes a bit plasticky on the drums)
c) the mids are more hollow (without being recessed)
d) it also has a smaller soundstage than zeus (without being too claustrophobic , i would say it's a bit mre upfront than XIV)
e) clarity/details are top notch like Zeus (if not slightly better)
f) highs sometime tend to sound a tad to trebly (this will probably be fixed with a mellow/copper cable)

if anyone out there is looking for a reference CIEM but does not have a kidney to sell , i suggest taking a look at NT6 - just make sure you pair it with a good copper/hybrid cable to keep it balanced (a silver cable is a no-no as it gets too trebly)

Btw , Whiplash Hybrid 8w cable works beautifully with NT6 and has been my go-to cable ever since i got it back in 2016

Evaluated the Valkyrie, and a variety of other IEMs at Audio46 with the Hugo 2. Needless to say, I left with the Valkyrie. Absolutely epic.

Joined the club. Absolutely loving these...bass of the gods. But more than that-- so detailed, resolving and natural. While they certainly aren't "balanced all rounders" their reputation as bleeding bass monsters is not deserved imho (though it can be overwhelming on certain tracks). If ever there was an "audiophile basshead" IEM this is it. A worthy addition to my collection.
