Super interesting, which adaptors are these? I use symbios and take out the foam bit.
This works for me as well. I also use them without foam on my Fourte's. They also provide a more neutral sound without the foam then other tips in my collection.

Symbio released a new ear tip model - the Symbio Peel - a little while back - basically the same as their standard wide-bore hybrid tips, but with no foam.
So once you've used up your existing batch, you can buy these to save you some time and effort :)

Also, as you're doubtless aware, the tips consist of a silicone outer and a rubber 'core' that fits over the nozzle.
For IEM's whose nozzles are too small to fit the Symbio tips (both the wide-bore or regular-bore ones), they offer a product which is just that inner core by itself.
The regular ear tips can then be slid onto these extra cores, and I suspect that this might indeed offer greater stability on IEMs that have no lips on their nozzles.

Not the foam. https://symbioeartips.com/manual-2 Those little adapters. Had a set of custom eartips with a 4mm hole. Used those with the adapters and they stayed on the westone um1 I had lying about. Without the adaptor they would of slid off, but with it they stayed on nice and snug (though came off occasionally). You would have to find out the nozzle length of the EE's and get the appropriate ones (seems spinfit do them as well if that helps). Downsides to tips are that they do make the earpiece stick out of your ear a bit more and can possibly change the signature a little.

Good sir, if it works, you may have solved the lip problem = you can start a custom sleeves side project for all universal EE owners..

Haha I hope it works! Materials are coming Monday so will definitely report back by then.

100% agree, perfect pairing with the Phantom. With Legend X, I pair with Spiral Dots to get that rumble and larger soundstage, although a little less controlled sound.

Ahh got it, perhaps I could use them to make the custom eartips compatible with my SE215, but that's assuming the project works in the first place. Will let you guys know how it turns out!

same here, i am eyeing the LX but haven't seen anything yet from EE yet.

64 Audio already had their Black Friday sell and will not have one on the actual Black Friday. There is still a couple of weeks until Black Friday.

I’m finding it quite hard to find some impressions of the nemesis and how it compares to the legend x? Can someone who has head both highlight the main differences? What genres each are suited to etc? From what I can gather, the legend is superior from a technical perspective but has more Mid bass emphasis and is smoother up top with an airier headspace. The nemesis is more sub bass focused and has more of an edge to its treble? Going for Hard edges and detail over the legends smoothness?

Last week I've heard several EE IEMs on Audio Video Show in Warsaw. In my ears ESR model was the best - ideal composition of bass, mid and high tones. Ex aequo with Noble Audio Django on next table. Congratulations Empire Ears - good work.
