Truly, the most vulnerable parts of an IEM are the connectors and the plug. I'm not worried at all about the switch. I'm much more worried about accidentally putting too much pressure on the plug/port or on the connectors. Or getting the cord caught on something and yanking at them, causing damage.

Zeus XR has cured my upgraditis , any future buys will solely be out of shopping therapy vibes

missed the black friday sales, is it going to be a x'mas or new year sales?
i am planning to acquire one CM version of EA, struggliing between R or XR, Adel or non Adel.
Looking back for the review, still can't decide

XR without a thought , if you are gonna spend 2K add 200-300 more and go all the way

as for adel or not adel , see the +/- of each option and decide accordingly

Very small body, very sensitive to tip, cable, source.
Two days needed for burn in, now I hear a very smooth, balanced sound.
Spinfit and Comply are not the real thing, but the tip of the AKG K3003 is very good. The best tip is a simple HAMA silicone.
Ares II is a very detailed, smooth cable that can be very well pairing with the Zeus XR.

I have Christmas for two days!

Yesterday we were paired with an A&K SP1000.
That was the biggest portable music experience on my life.

I find the SP1000 paired with the Zeus XR sublime. The amount of detail, the placement of sounds within the soundstage, the fantastic transparency of those sounds, and the way the music just seems to keep growing makes for a wonderful listening experience. Try the FA tips if you get a chance, Many here feel they pair the best with the XR.

The Legend X is an upcoming 7-driver hybrid (2 DD + 5 BA). Unfortunately, it’s not available to demo yet, so there won’t be any impressions or comparisons until early next year, most likely.
