For a new flagship, the EVO has a pretty bland and boring faceplate though. I dislike the EVO branding on the faceplate and still prefer their signature eagle wings design...

I imagine it’s just a placeholder demo faceplate. Or really just hope so lol because I do agree OG LX wings look better based off the EVO pics

They put this on the teaser so idk.. I do like the OG gold wings as well but then if they do it again it’ll just be same as LX so maybe they wanted to come up with something new?

I actually prefer the new logo to differentiate it. Always felt the OG gold ways were a bit demure for what the LX was capable of.

Maybe you guys should start asking for a limited batch of EVOs with the wings

Considering how nice EE’s faceplates usually are, I’m expecting that to just be a demo design and we are yet to see the final version. At least that’s what I’m hoping for lol.

Considering the EVO design does resemble wings, it's probably what was planned. Of all the recent releases this one really has me curious. Can't wait for the reviews.

The EVO concept into a shape of a wings is great, however the execution is bland and plain though. Perhaps a different textured faceplate with EVO in translucent to see a bit of the internals might make it more special..

I think unique faceplates for different models is the way, I vastly prefer looking at the winged side of my Hero, the writing blends into the faceplate too much and looks far less refined.
