+1 For the Dignis Arca. I have been custom making cases out of foam, cardboard, plastic/metal containers, etc... but don't have time anymore, and needed something a little larger for Legend X + cable. Dignis Arca is amazing and would highly recommend as well. I wish it was a like 1/4 inch thinner in each dimension, but it works!
Thanks for the info, and agree easier to deal with a US dealer. When I purchased over two years ago there wasn't a US based dealer. Glad Dignis gear is getting more visibility here in the US.
I’ve been looking at the DX300 and R8 but want to understand the hardware differences, specifically the chips used and their pros and cons. If I had a sugar momma I’d just get a LPTG Ti!!
The Shanling M8 should be on your shortlist, its tuning is superior to the DX300, I bought one I thought would compliment my M8, and I sent it back in three days.
Can anyone point me to any reviews or posts comparing the Legend X to the Legend X SE? Just pre-ordered the SE and Bloom Audio claims it has "slightly more present mids and cleaner bass" but I'd like to know what people are actually hearing.

I think that description is accurate. Basically it has slightly less mid bass, and a little more forward upper mids and lower treble. The differences aren’t massive but definitely audible when comparing the two. And for me, it was enough to make the SE a more enjoyable listening experience (especially for Anjunabeats/anjunadeep type of stuff )
My list of favs are too long to share here lol but I’ll PM you my Anjuna playlist. It all sounds amazing with LXSE
@gnahra is another anjuna fan with an LX SE who upgraded from OG LX. Maybe he can weigh in here too.
My Leonadis II Octa has returned from Effect Audio with the ConX Connector fitted, and I am now using this cable with my Odins. Compared to the Stormbreaker, the Leo II Octa improves the bass performance of the Odins. I am not saying that this was limited with the Stormbreaker, but I like what I hear base-wise with the Leo II Octa, particularly when listening to classical music. And this is not to the detriment of the midrange and trebble.

I've been hearing this from a lot of people I trust (like you) and need to understand HOW the M8 tuning is different to a more let's say neutral source like the DX300, especially with something like LX. What does it emphasize that others don't? And what does it give up? (Because nothing's perfect). Is it warmer? Thicker? Fuller? And where on the FR? And if so how did we get to everyone liking warmer when transparent/brighter A&K and Lotoo DAPs were all the rage at the high-end only a year ago?
Yes that’s the one. It can fit one largish DAP, one IEM plus cable and one pill box for tips. It’s great for my needs. However, it seems to have disappeared from the Dignis website, so I am not sure if it’s still made.
