What about everyone’s else that posted shorter cables? @aaf evo is not the only one that has a short EA cable, that would rule out the “one time off error”, wouldn’t it? How are we going to fix our problem?

No worries at all, our service repair team are really friendly and helpful! They will be able to help out for all manufacturer defects 😄

Got the Ares S and I was surprised that there were two different weave patterns for the cables.

All 4-wire cables are braided from the Y-split down and twisted from the Y-split up; when they branch off into 2. Obviously, you can’t braid them when you only have 2 wires to work with.

@snellemin you've got a keen eye for detail 😉 That's our proprietary Dual Geometric Design! One of them gives off the traditional copper warmth while the other cable geometry is custom created to strike off the muddiness that comes with usual Copper cables. That's why our 3rd Generation Ares cable - Ares S, is known for its hyper resolution on top of a thick and powerful sound 😎

Very cool design. I really enjoy the cable with some of my IEM's. I'm a bass head and the subbass that I hear, comes across cleaner vs my other cables.
After I took the Ares S out of it's box I noticed a difference in how the light hit the wires. Took a pic and noticed the difference. Brought it to work and stuck the cable under a Leica microscope to be sure. After that I stuck the whole cable in a Nikon xt H 225 x-ray unit and I was checking the solder joints by the Conx connector. Way cleaner vs other cables I have purchased.

Really cool stuff, I've still got my original Eros II kicking around - working flawlessly but it has gone a little stiff over the years.

Glad to see you guys still making awesome cables!

Has anyone tried the Code 23 with the EE Odins? Impressions?

How does it stack up against your other cables?
It stacks up well. It gives a more all round 3D effect which is a little different to the other cables I own or have tried. The closest cable I’ve got to it is actually the 1950’s. Not quite the same re the 3D effect, but I do feel there are some similarities with clarity, separation and detail retrieval.
