Is the Code 23 really usable with IEMs as far as fit is concerned? Do the IEMs connected to it stay safely in the ears? May some models encounter problems in that respect?

Seldomly read something more concrete about the Code 23 ergonomics besides that it is heavy and stiff which it obviously is  ... .

I am on the fence to buy my first EA but cannot decide between an Eros S with the upgrade 4.4 OFC plug, the Code 23 or even one of the 8w Ares or Cadmus...

Have both The Eros S and Code 23.

With right paring Code 23 wins hand down. While both punches well above their price point Code 23 perform like $1000 or more cable and Eros S perform like $700 cable.

For usability while you stationary Code 23 are really comfy because they retain their shape and position very well, but as soon as you start moving around Code 23 is pain in the A. nearly non-usable while you are moving.

A new package from @EffectAudio just arrived. Just a quick listen, but it colored me impressed from the start. It feels like a perfect match for the HE6SE, gives it a oomph. Also great upgrade over the OG HiFiMan cable, but that is pretty obvious! I'll keep you posted :)

Looks like you snatched the limited Cyber Green version! 😎

Looking sweet right there 🤩
We usually recommend a 100hr burn in time. It should open up the sound more 👍

Over 80hrs in and still in sonic bliss with Code23 + FiR Xe6. The hint of copper timbre warmth, enveloping holographic soundstage and most important to my ears – musicality – it's outstanding especially with its price to performance ratio – truly punches above its price against kilo buck cables in my collection.

How do the WMTD vouchers work? Can they be combined? IE if so wouldn't it be better to order 10x $70 voucher for $700 worth while paying only $417?

I'm going to assume no but would like confirmation

Reporting in Code23 with Meze Elite. Finally my quest of searching cable comes to an end.

Had tried so many cables under $1000, some sounds really good actually (Lavri Grand Cable for example). However, nothing "move" my heart like Code 23. This cable surround me with solid full body sound, expansive soundstage, liquid smooth treble, but still retain transparent and clean through all spectrum. Midrange is indeed the best part.

Received a Chiron (4 wire) yesterday and I've got to say I'm mightily impressed. It surpasses the cables I've heard by quite a margin (even as a 4 wire). When hooked up to the A&K Odyssey and accentuates the parts of the FR I hoped it would and makes me want to listen to Odyssey that much more. Coming from the Cleopatra II 4 wire the resolution is enhanced even more and sound staging / imaging properties are improved significantly. Just thought I'd put my 2c here as I usually shy away from EA as a brand but this cable has me back on board.

For the longest period of time, I've been carrying my gears in the most rudimentary way possible by stuffing them in my pocket or backpack without a dedicated case. This was primarily due to my need of being financially responsible and only committing to purchases that I deem as an absolute necessity.

But now, I'm more than excited to share my first ever carrying case by the grace of @JordonEA.

It's a true beauty to be part of such an accommodating community and I have nothing but thanks to all my friends here for the love and camaraderie shared together.

This will be my first step towards being able to showcase my audiophile self in a more presentable manner without embarrassing myself 😂

EA Chamber Carrying Case -

Has 4 slots with a detachable strap that can be adjusted in length to your needs. Its locking mechanism is operated by three snap buttons and invisible magnets located on the flap.

The dividers can be taken out and re-oriented to accommodate for different compartment size you need.

Overall, it exudes the feeling of a luxury briefcase that'll be perfect for travel without taking up too much space.

A little bird has told me that there may be a half-sized version coming out in the near future. For those who may find the Chamber Case a little too large in size, this would be the perfect opportunity to pick up a smaller case that would be suited to your needs 😊

Hey @Shawnb 😃 nope, you cannot combine vouchers. Only one voucher can be used per order ✌️

An evening session with the Code 23. It is a spectacular cable, here with HiFiMan HE6SE and Denon AH-D9200. My first impressions are: huge, open sound, thunderous dynamics, deep soundstage.

If only it wasn't for the janky-ass adapter...

I'm not a big headphone guy, but as soon as I received my IEM version of the Code23 cable I thought to myself, "this would make a great headphone cable." If EA were somehow able to implement ConX for use with IEM & headphone connections that would be an amazing all-in-one solution.

You are right. 16AWG is great even for headphones.

Why Effect Audio Signature Series cables not have the option to add "TermX"? You can only buy with "ConX"...
