It's been hard to find the tall black base in Japan. In fact just Mullard ECC35's in general...(but ECC32's are everywhere!!?!?). I was bidding hard for this short brown base on Yahoo Auction; and for those familiar with Yahoo Auction, there's no expiry time...just a matter of who gets tired of bidding.
Is that HD800 Anax mod v3.0?
Want me to see if I can help you finding a NOS one?
Not Anax 3.0 yet... He who not must be named here, I hope you understand even if you don't agree (), hasn't made the 3.0 public yet.

How much do they run for? If not too much, yes please ?
Oh yes. Good point .
I paid 1600 SEK (182€/245$) for a NOS ECC35 (both black and brown base) from Roland @ tangotubes.com. Don't know if he has any left.
Want me to check?
Wow...a little more than I'd like to pay. Think I'll hold off. This short brown base ECC35 cost me approx $80. I noticed a pair going on eBay at the moment, not certain what price they'll end up. Do the Mullard ECC35s vary that much from generation to generation...more so than say a completely different brand?
Oh... No no no... the difference are very subtle. So if you like your short brown base, stop obsessing!
I like TUNG SOL 6SU7GTY very much, this is one of the best sounding 6SL7 kind of tube.
If you like to get the best sound, try to find this version of ECC35 Mullard, which have short bottle and fat brown base. This one branded as Valvo, but this is Mullard UK made on Valvo order.

The one you found is the same as the one AnakChan posted.
Is it of importance where and when it's made?
