FINALLY! I can use my DX-90 as a DAC for my Linux computer!! It now works just fine with no drivers needed. I am also very pleased with the SQ after trying different headphones and IEM's following the update. Well done, iBasso!
Yeah I have just downloaded it with the last couple hours, I have yet to read what changes were made in this f.w.. So I will be reading more about it once I am back home to look up at the differences.
So, I had written a while back, fearing that I had deleted a file or moved one when installing the older Lurker Ibasso firmware. I was unable to do updates and restore the old firmware to try and update that way. I do not know what had happened between then and now, but with the new lurker f.w. the 2.2 version, I was able to update with, and all the issues I was having with the DX90 with those previous errors have been remedied and or removed. So, I am very happy in that regards, and I wanted to ask if there was anyone else here that uses the SM64 from earsonics with the DX90? I think it is a very natural pairing and sounds very good.
Did not know the f.w. 2.3 was out, has it been out for a while?
I'm also interested to hear if the SM64 is a good match with the DX90. I have an opportunity to pick up a used pair. My only concern is the higher impedance of the SM64. My RHA MA750 sounds wonderful with the DX90 so don't want to fork out $300 if it doesn't pair well with the SM64.

it will pair well, i have SM64 V1, and there's no hiss.., i used to play it with ipod + amp, and all song have hiss...
DX90 have a good synergy with sony XBA-Z5 too.., the only thing bothering me is when i use my SD-4, i cant use headphone/amp out, just line out, if i use internal amp of DX90, there gonna be slighty sharp hiss on high vocal..
I am unsure if this topic had been mentioned about random playlist.
Random playlist sometimes repeat the same song without completing a full cycle.
Anyone having this issue?
Is it possible to change with a firmware mod?
Moreover, the back button does not play back the last song being played.

And its mine as well.
A smart random should not repeat songs already played. Thats a feature thats been available on even the most simple players for years.
I'm with seraphx78 on this one: if I'm shuffling songs sometimes I hear one that just clicks with my mood and demands a re-listen. There's no reason a simple toggle option can't exist that can enable the back button to repeat the last track.
