I wish them all the best, I"m not necessarily hating them or trying to ruin the party here, I want you guys to enjoy it.

I just hope for iBasso to put a little more effort in. I find it a little premature or forceful of them to be releasing a DX90 when we still (to some)  cannot call DX50 a stable unit.

It comes across to me as a possible race to compete with FiiO.

Yes, only when the consumer suffers due to the rush, it becomes a problem.

I'll let the members get back to their specs and wishlists. I've just seen this all happen before with DX50 "the dap to beat" "this is going to be killer". Sometimes, just sometimes... a little strike back to reality is in order.

  Look at the bright side...iBasso appears to be learning their lessons from these earlier DAPS and should continue to improve.
That's can only mean good things in the future for us.

All this talk about the iBasso baking process. My DX50 1.2.6 is bullet proof. Now if they will just get the gapless fix out...

Isn't a lot of this due to poor implementation of the Sabre32s? I had they're not easy to design around?

I wouldn't say that. The DX100 has the saber chip and I yet to hear an owner that did say the sq isn't great, including owner of both at one time. I believe with iBasso expertise, they will make sure it will sound great, double dacs that's even better.

The DX100 to my ear sounds very fine. The HiFiman 901, dual Sabre dacs, to me sound also very fine and natural. Implementation. Right, could be a fantastic dac, tube, transformer, cap, resistor, . . . implement wrong and it doesn't matter. The Sylvania 1929 to 1932 mesh plate balloon tube is beautiful and I have NOS. Design right and I will put it up against anything for a preamp, wrong and you may as well use a Russian 6SN7 copy.
