Do y'all leave the LPSU on when not in use or would it be wise to turn it off?
Yessir, why leave it on to consume electricity and dissipate heat? :)

Yes sir! Money right onto the spots. The same goes for headphones cables! UsB cables and so on.

This is exactly why I love Ibasso!!!
EMI shielding must be applied with careful consideration. Wrong or overzealous application can certainly muff and reduce sound quality instead of improving things. In my own experience, these shielding do color the sound signature slightly as well. If shielding is applied correctly, it actually helps to make the background soundstage more blacker. Also one has to be very careful with EMI shielding materials that are electrically conductive like copper, it can cause electrical shorting if sloppily done or becomes dislodged by physical movement or knocks(portable DAP used in outdoors).

One important thing that anyone(without modding skills) can do to improve sound quality without risk of damaging their DAPs, is to buy a bottle of contact cleaner(e.g. WD-40 specialist contact cleaner) or Deoxit gold and clean the electrical contacts of their DAPs, IEM/Headphone jacks, Microsd contacts(even if the DAP/microsd is brand new).

This is the electrical contact cleaner that I am using and would highly recommend it for improving sound quality:

DX340 optimization guide now posted. I am now leaving this thread and site. Remember NOTHING is removed but DISABLED. If issue you can always ENABLE all modules in easy to use Windows APP in seconds. Yes my guides are more aggressive than that other member's but does NOT mean they do not work. You can do so much more with Root like dedicate entire cores to audio apps :)

OG FW does not have the annoying pause in music when connecting/removing DC12V IN and pause in music when going on battery from bypass is much, much faster you hardly notice it.

For contact enhancers, use sparingly. Just a light film as too much can cause issues and problems. I have also seen some enhancers that thicken over time, which is not what you want. I am not advocating the use of the contact enhancers as it is impossible for me to know what someone might use and how much.

Agreed! I apply on, wait for 5 minutes. Then wipe with silk fabric. Clean and thin coats left only

I've messaged him on Taobao and I was postponed for 1 more week even though 35 days of build time have already elapsed for a couple of days...not cool/ideal but yeah, craftsmanship takes its time + not sure about the number of orders + Chinese New Year holidays etc etc etc :)
My Jutem leather case was delayed for another 3-4 days, was told they will send out within that time.
I rather delayed a bit than to receive a rush job.

Currently I use low amp gain on the DX340. When you pair the 340 with PB5 using lineout, would you leave the amp gain on the DX340 at low or change it to high?
