I'm already on the latest and last firmware for my dx240 so so I need to downgrade?
Looking forward to trying this on the DX300. Thanks for your hard work on this and looking forward to the optimisation guide.
I did not get an IMG from Paul for the 240. I have requested but he has not gotten back to me. I have link for the 260 only. Give me your full build number like this and I will try and find the file you need.I'm already on the latest and last firmware for my dx240 so so I need to downgrade?

Lots of stuff is able to be disabled in the 320 I can tell you that over 100 modules. Doing testing now with the 320.Looking forward to trying this on the DX300. Thanks for your hard work on this and looking forward to the optimisation guide.

Thanks for the work and detailed guide! Looking forward to working through this on the 180 & 320 once my daily workload eases a bit.

It looks like you need to open IMG file and copy those files to c::\DX180 like in guide first. For some reason it lost the port which is what that error message is saying. It had communication but then lost it. I am using the USB-C to USB-C that came with my new phone into Thunderbolt port on my laptop. I have seen the port found and go away using different USB cable before - like with cable that came with DX180 which I just tested and it connects and disconnects randomly. Solution is to use USB-C to USB-C and use Thunderbolt port on your computer. This has always given my a stable connection. During my experiments I have flashed maybe 6 times.dear all,
as I am too stupid, can someone help? I try to upgrade firmware via qualcomm, it does not work. I received the attached info: Download fail.
regards
I have updated the Guide with these steps to fix this issue: (I did NOT have any issues with DX320 with either USB port)
If you have a Thunderbolt 3 port that is best one to use as I have NEVER had any issues. If you do not try the following:
- Unplug DAP from USB and restart your PC
- Plug USB cable into different USB port
- Power on DAP and then power off
- Hold PLAY button for a bit and then plug into USB cable
- Goto Device Manager and see if that “!” is now gone
Here is the issue when using USB-A cable direct into USB port:

I am still working on the optimization guides. DX320 is easier so will be done first. Its been fun seeing what I can disable and can't. Managed to disable a system APK and not have DAP boot so got to flash again and root. I know which module it was so I can document NEVER to disable it.Thanks for the work and detailed guide! Looking forward to working through this on the 180 & 320 once my daily workload eases a bit.

Incredibly cool; thanks for this. Really looking forward to this for my DX300.
The 320 optimization guide will be posted first as I have determined the most that can be disabled already. Just doing final testing and working on the document itself. Dx180 has more steps required to optimize it so a bit more complexIncredibly cool; thanks for this. Really looking forward to this for my DX300.
Revision 2 of Guide is now available. If you have a DX180 you NEED to download and follow it, not REV 1. DX300's should be fine with Rev 1. If someone has a DX260 I can write a guide for that one as well although if Android 11 still should be very close to DX320.
You should make a YouTube video for this
