Very nice! The 12EXN-S are complicated upgrade and not everyone has one. Enjoy!!!

I'm guessing this player will come with an adaptor piece possibly to fit the older DX300/DX320 series AMP module cards since the AMP15 module itself is larger in width.

I wouldnt worry about prototype tuning, usually ibasso prototype is a lot different than released

Then there will be a couple of firmware updates to fix a few UI glitches which also magically lifts the sound quality to a whole new level. And a third one which ruins it for selected few people.

I was about to purchase a 320max ti when I saw this about the dx340. Any idea what will be the timeline for Max version of the 340? Wondering whether to wait for it or go ahead with the dx 320 max ti. Thanks

Would be surprised to get an answer to this. Even if it is on the roadmap, no dates could be given with confidence. Likely best bet is to extrapolate from the past 'announcement date':
