I like the SP3000 more than the DX300. More detail, transparency, and I prefer that it’s more neutral than the DX300 in its tuning.Lol don't tempt me to open the deepest part of my wallet. I already spent like 4k recently for Hifi gear alone and even more on other non-hifi expenses.
Truth be told I am tempted by the in-house DAC in the Dx340 and hope it will be priced reasonably and the DC-in if available will apply to the entire DAC+AMP.
I haven't heard the SP3k but I have Kann Ultra and it's my current favorite DAP that I own and it's anything but flat and dull, it's an amazing DAP.

one bigger battery lets you put in more power...or even switch to those 18570 like the C9 and be done with any worry about battery everIt's a pity that the idea of two batteries is continued. In the DX300 and DX320 series, this idea completely failed the test for people who mainly use streaming. The battery responsible for the DAP operation discharges completely when the one from the AMP has only 60%.

Honestly... this is much less problematic than you can imagine. The AMP battery needs to be charged so rarely! It's a pity that the idea of two batteries is continued. I find it no issue at all and appreciate the better sound with digital and analog separated. It makes total sense.

I don't know... I feel like I load it once a week or every five days? But the second one every dayI guess I didn't understand your argument if it is in defense of the two-battery system.
I just mean that it doesn't bother me at all.

Pretty typical for streaming wirelessly on flagship productsI agree with you that the idea itself is good, but the battery capacity was probably not selected properly since I can only use Tidal for 5-6 hours and then I have to charge the DAP.
5-6 is bad. Even flagships provide 8-10 hours on average. Wi-Fi streaming doesn’t use that much battery as people exaggerate it to be.

I dont know about your specific concerns, but i always like to charge my DAP at 30% or so. Sp2K, Shanling M8, Cayin N8ii were all about 5.5 hours before i need charging. The Dx320 can also go that long before needing charges, given that it is probably around 20% but it is still typical IMOHmm... can you give some other examples? If this was normal for TOTL DAPs I wouldn't mention it as a weakness of the DX300/320 series.
The only player i dont charge at 5.5 hours while streaming is Walkman 1Z M2....it needs charging around 8 hours typically with DSP and so on

Maybe Hiby RS8 too but I feel like half of its weight is coming from its battery.
No actually most of its weight

It has a xboxhueg kind of copper heatsink all around that massive battery, so i think it's a mix of heatsink and batteryMaybe Hiby RS8 too but I feel like half of its weight is coming from its battery.

Download the Tidal songs to the SD card.I agree with you that the idea itself is good, but the battery capacity was probably not selected properly since I can only use Tidal for 5-6 hours and then I have to charge the DAP.
Simple solution buy 2 DX340s or keep your DX300/320 and you always have DAP that is charged. I bought another DAP myself so always have one charged and as a spare in case one has to go in for servicing. No DAP I would be miserable. There are a few tweaks that can be done to improve battery life of digital battery as far as Android side goes. Paul told me that DX340 will be out next month. Really love the Rohm Chipset in 320 and just got around to getting an AMP 13. Was able to buy used a Amp 11 Mk1 which is super rare cheap and that amp sounds better to me than Mk2 in 320.It's a pity that the idea of two batteries is continued. I use only local files from micro SD. Dap is set in airplane mode. Yes I am interested in the amp11. I do not plan on getting rid of my DX320. I really like it. Could it have longer battery life, yes!! Sony lasts over 15 hours but sound is not as reference like DX320. I will use DX320 at home only where I can plug in and Sony for out of home use. If you are considering a Sony you will have to debloat it. It is horrible almost not even usable without doing that first. There is even a few things that can be done on DX320. Ibasso did a good job in taking out just about all phone related android stuff. Sony did horrible job. Android auto on a Dap really??It may be simple but it's not the bestI prefer one DAP with a strong battery.
If you use WiFi often I do not recommend AMP13 because you will hear interference. I have AMP11 mk1 modified by NPAudio and I think it is the best combination with DX320. I will sell my iBasso system because I want to try something new. If you are interested in AMP11EXN3 then let me know I can put it on the listing.
