It means, it depends on the application: does it use undocumented sample size, or documented (which?).

I’d also be interested as I have Stellia on the way. Which only has a 4-pin connector I’ve checked online and can only find an adapter 4-pin to 4.4mm but it’s circla $140 which is insane

For what I've read in this forum it might worth a wait if AMP9 is on the horizon and if Stellia has an audio signature somewhere close to Focal Clear which I own.
DX220 + AMP9 + Stellia may be a killer combo, like SE kicking a$$ of balanced ...

Actually, u just download in PC, via USB put it in the internal Storage DX220, no need s to unzip. then Local update, direct to internal storage. Walah... it detects and do it automatically... well that's what I exp.

Thank you, I downloaded it directly from my DX220 then I copied the .zip one folder above in the hierarchy.
The update went smoothly with local update on internal storage and without unzipping

Well, no one knows ANYTHING about the future AMP9 yet Paul. You can message @jamato8 because he has the Stellia, all of the AMP modules, and has been using it with the DX220.

In android mode in artist view on Mango it lists all the songs alphabetically and doesn't seperate albums, anything i'm missing?

You are not missing anything - this was reported/requested to be addressed a few pages back and Paul commented that it had been passed on to the engineers. Shortly we should be getting a dedicated thread started to centralize all of the bugs, issues, enhancement/improvement requests - Paul and I exchanged some PM and he is going to work on starting that up. That will make it much easier to keep track of FW updates and all the ideas being shared.

I demoed the Stellia three times , its full of faults. Best thing is fit.
