I am holding one... (left one, DX220 Original with AMp1Mk2 EX... while Right, DX220 Local Mod & Fidelizer adv purist with AMP8EX-FE)

I reborrow the EX mod unit again...
was haunted by Vince said, that AMP8EX-FE will work optimal if the DX220 Body also Mod...
previously I was looking on different way, now I a bit understand (if I don't get it wrong again), it was separation and Noises with power yet tight sounding.
When pair with Elear, the Mid Bass was so puncy and tight, is like i can image the line parting from Sub Bass. I can only get this when using more powerfull AMP external like ifi iDSD Micro Black... but in my case, I just need to Mod my DX220 Body, so it can synergy with the AMP8EX-FE...

in short, and 8 hours intense listening, I pull the trigger send my DX220 Body for local Mod. if I understand correctly, the mod will be almost like DX220EX...
The wonder of DX220... never stop to ease me (especially my wallet)

i wouldn’t say that . I probably said 3.5mm to 4.4mm should never be used because single ended into balanced is going to damage device....but I don’t discount the fact that the #2 is next to #3 and type may happen.
but as Edward said, balanced to balanced is all good
