usually I used Abnormal cable to my AMP8EX-FE - Elear, but today I used BRISE Cable. and turn out, I don't need iDSD black anymore...
Even Hip DAC with 4.4 was not a great increment for my pairing...
Well at least, one thing that bothering me already relieve...

LOL! The outbreak is just being bad, very bad.....everything is being sluggish...I doubt even Apple will not be able to release anything this years. I do think Xbox and PS5 will still be on track though

edit: my point, when I thought power is everything, but forget that synergy can be more with the right pair...
i'm planning to get the dx220 soon, the thing is my rig all ended with 4.4mm and thus thinking to buy the amp8 also ,but i see the stock amp1mk2 have its own 2.5mm balanced output and wonder how it compare with the amp8 , pretty sure the single ended lose to both balanced output.
should i buy 4.4 to 2.5 converter instead and save some cash.

Built my own from USSR military occ copper. Found it on ebay as nos. Cheapest and best sounding so far. Dont go for silver plated copper, that messes up treble. Mogami mic cable was also nice, huge step up over any Sennheiser made cable, though the beat so far is one i made from ussr occ military copper. Really want to try some gold plated silver cables, but they are to expensive at the moment. For now these are amazing.

Following up on the issue.
i did as was suggested by Paul, then upgraded to 1.13.202 FW, and it was fine for a few weeks.
Now again, same circumstances - using unit as DAC from Mango OS, then accidental shutdown, load to Android, corrupted card.
I will try latest FW and different SD card, but i do not think it's going to fix the issue.
Following up again.
Few months ago I did clean install as suggested, then upgraded to the latest firmware as of now.
and, i have not had issue for these few months.
However, it did get back again yesterday.
Same circumstances - Mango OS, DAC function, complete discharge (so the unit does not even power on).
Then I plugged it to the quickcharge, it was powered back after some time, but after turning on, it loaded Android and the card was reported as corrupted.
I am going to repeat this cucle few times with another card.

Finally Ive got it! (220ex+amp8ex+fidelizer purist fw)
400-500 to much but 12 is very little, I think.
What is the optimal burn-in time time? It will compete with LPGT))
