Nope only chance is to find one for resale, hope they do another one or contact someone who can do the mod themselves.

If you ask me.
I would repeat the above. I also found it gave slightly more control to bass. I did use amp8 without mod for a while and difference it of another level dap. You need good iems or cans though to release the full potential obviously.
Also it goes well With Advanced Rom which improves seperation and imaging significantly.

Getting mine done this week also getting Signature mod on AMP9. Also have the iBasso AMP8-EXFE on order, so will be able to compare.

Hi

I want to upgrade my FiiO X7ii, so naturally am considering the DX220, having owned a DX200 in the past. I've read a lot about it having a relatively short battery life, especially when using the higher-powered amp modules. There is even a small thread here on the subject.

My question is if using the standard AMP1ii with relatively easy to drive IEM's and headphones playing various resolution FLAC files, what battery life can I look forward to?

Both amp1 and amp8 with my JVC Fw01 in high gain would last around 8 hours.
Even my hd 540RG and hd 250 get about 6-8H of Battery. Though almost always charge ot after around 5 h by which point still have around 35%.
