I didn't try on DX220 but when I had FiiO X7 I vaguely remember (may be wrong) having problems with multi-channel (5.1) SACDs, only the 2 channel stereo would play

Iso file coming from a SACD. Using Neutron it works but Mango player doesnt recognise the file. What Neutron shows its a DSD64 so its not something that DX220 cant handle...

It is common when an unsupported file format can not be played or recognized. SACD when ripped are all typically DSD or DSF, and I automatically thought of SACD as DSD.

Which players out there support ISO? Could I know ?

Using neutron player is better. Dont need to stick with stock when you have various file type.

Still, I have the stutter clicking sound with Neutron when playing dsd.
The Neutron support said that it might be because the file is compressed,
if that is the case, next release will solve it.
But, I have no way to tell if that is the case, as it happens all of dff, dsf, iso
when it happens.

It is a DSD iso image.
When it plays, player display says dsd64, and in DAC display is says 2.82MHz.

I envy your ears, man, mine are too sensitive. So, I went back to stock amp1mk2, which I enjoy as much as amp8. But with amp9, IT04, Andro/Solaris, and some 64audio iems have a bit too much background "waterfall" hissing for my ears.

Strange, my amp9's hiss is minimal with IT04, not a deal-breaker imo.

Also a fairly basic question, I assume high res FLAC files cant be played via bluetooth? I'm using Bose NC700/ Sony WF-1000mx3 and Cambridge audio melomania 1and none of them can play high res files over 990kpbs - is that normal? The player says 'unsupported file type - they play fine with wired IT01's. Thanks for any help!

I’m having all kinds of Bluetooth problems as well The feature doesn’t really work as advertised.
