I am hoping for a longer playback time then the previous model and the 5 inch screen is surely a bonus.That should allow then to install a bigger battery, but making it heavier.

Did anyone follow the FiiO release today? Q5s supports DSD512 with 2xAK4493. For $350 sounds really good. I will probably get it too.

I noticed it said 4493EQ not EN which could be a significant improvement. The first Q5 has two 4490EN's which are mobile chips. EQ is a desktop chip for those unaware

Where is your 2.5mm/4.4mm/3.5mm AMP Module?

Won't matter once iBasso launches the AMP9 with Nutube even if it's only single-ended 3.5mm.

Two different companies, two different approaches to similar designs. Fiio will have their THX module as well and I'm interested in both that and the AMP9. Just need to decide if it's worth investing in more Android based players. iBasso does do a better job at supporting their DAPs long-term though.

I will probably buy both the DX220+Nutube and the Q5s. I don't like having to use a balanced connector for a mobile device.

There is no room for 4.4 and others. Also, I do not think Fiio DAP can do Native DSD512, onlythe stand-alone DAC/Amp does

Yes, at least the DAP M11 cannot.

And that's why my next DAP will be the DX220 replacing my already sold WM1Z. For a pocket DAC though I liked the form factor of Q5 (unlike the Mojo), and now the Q5s.

There is no way to use DX200 or 220 with DSD512.

This file is very high demanding of processing power and consumption power

The WM1Z is still very hard to beat if you use PCM and crave for that of a more analog style.
