So its only SE. Why?

standard tubes like 6922 or 12ax7 are what are called dual triodes--ie, there are two triodes in each tube. So, you can use one triode per channel, 1/2 of the tube for R, the other 1/2 for L....
Balanced needs two triodes per channel, so, R+, R-, L+ and L-

Korg module is two single triodes - so, either one balanced channel, or single-ended stereo only. Yoou would need two of the modules for balanced stereo.

Based on what I’ve read here, Lurker’a add-on brings the temp down quite a bit. Worth a try? You can always roll back if you don’t like it...
Thanks.. I’ll read up on it.

I've found the challenging UIEMs for DX220. 3.5 SE output is weak to drive them, only balanced 2.5 made the job)

Balanced and offset trim-pots are for adjusting DC balances and offset from each channel in respect to ground differences. It is a common tuning practices for amplifier. Not sure why it is here, you will need to know what you are doing though (my best guess is that it is there for DIY modders, as modified DX200/220 or even to modify the Amp9, the bias will need readjustment as this is Tubes we are talking about). It is what you would call a Bias adjustment....but I don’t even think rolling tubes are even an options LOL!

Amp9 should only be SE or single Ended configurations only, in order to make balanced viable, you will need another Korg Tube....this is where spaces becomes an issues (not the socket)
