Well, I'm done with the Oreo beta. Too unstable for me. Got into Mango mode like twice and then couldn't get back in because it kept hanging. Went back to the previous firmware.
In any case, turns out that my unit needed an extended time to load after pressing power button. I tend to be inmpatient and expect immediate boot up. Now it boots up and I can go into Mango mode. Oreo sounds great but hard to compare with older firmware except from memory.

It seems like some of you have had problems with the beta FW and I am afraid if I try to update it I will get stuck in a middle of somewhere like @cj3209 and few others without firm solution then I rather wait until Lurker FW.
Whatever you did..dude its awesome!! IMHO definitely improvements over stock oreo..soundstage is larger, everything sounds more clearer. Love it!!..more testing
More good news for me today. I found out that my 64 Audio N8 has been completed and is in the process of being shipped to me. All the way from the other side of the world to my side. Maybe I'll get them at the end of this week. I'll keep AMP7 on the DX200 until they arrive and use them with the AMP7 until I decide on the type of balanced cable to get for it and then finally get to try out the AMP8.
Or maybe, since I've already tried out the stock, AMP3 and AMP7 with the iBasso IT03 that I should try it out with the AMP8 using my balanced 2.5 cable and add an adaptor to use it together before I get the N8.
Decisions, decisions... Any comments on what you guys think the order should be?
Still waiting for my N8 but I decided to go ahead and finally try my AMP8 with the IT03. Just turned it on and it is so open and spacious. I really like that. It's that openness that I crave, the reason why I chose to go with the M15 instead of M20 on the N8. More comments on the AMP8 later but does anyone have the 8 and the 4 and go to their 4 over the 8 and on what type of music?
After reflashing, reformating my SD card and restoring my library from my backup disk, still having a very strange problem with 8.1
Android Mango will not index certain songs, and when I try to play them via directory or file browser, I get “playback error.” The tracks in question play fine on computer. They also play fine on Pure Mango mode,
Cannot for the life of me figure out the issue here. Any ideas?

Hi WindowsX, when I'm trying to run disable verity.bat file on my spare windows xp pc, I'll get error add.exe entry point not found/ The procedure entry point WSAPoll could not be found in the dynamic link library WS2_32.dll.
I was able to upgrade basso dx200 to oreo without any problems.
