K10 with dx200+amp1 basically are outstanding but it's oustanding too my AR-M2+K10. Nothing of strange simply because of K10 makes the difference.

And keep in mind that: I have to "press" my right earpiece to get a correct bass extension 'cause I need to reshell them and I'm waiting for the comfort cream. I think k10 it's an experience everyone should consider to do.
And in the next weeks I will also get a new cable to use the K10 in balanced mode with AMP3.

K10 are able to transform the Dx200 extra resolution in music !

Still debating if I should get the Massdrop K10. I pulled the trigger on the drop then canceled because I heard the difference between the Andromeda and the K10 with the DX200 are very small.
Made an afternoon test with the Andromeda of my friend. I think campfire andromeda are great and abosutely don't deface with K10. (andromeda are cheaper but not so much cheaper). Anyway in my few listening hrs I realized K10 basically sounds more musical than Andromeda. Andromeda +dx200 together risk to be too much analytical. ok, some people prefer this and of course it depends of what you are listening but imho K10 better "domesticate" Sabre inclination to extra details and extra analytical behaviour...And the K10 bass are more believable. (and remember I'm waiting to reshell them).
Anyway whatever you choose between them, you come out on top for your dx200.

I heard what you are talking about with the Andromeda and DX200 with the AMP1. I almost sold the Andros. Then I got the AMP 3 and this opened a whole new musical world with the Andros. Much more organic but you still get the nice Mico detail.

Does the K10 have nice micro detail with the DX200?

I heard the Andros both in AMP1 and in AMP3 too, since my friend had also balanced cable for Andros but i have not been able yet (waiting for the cable) to hear K10 in AMP3.
(And also remember I need the reshell, i highline this point since it's very important, but anyway in my single end test i heared k10 better than Andros. Of course both compared in amp1)

K10U, first generation, and K10 custom sound different from one another. Both do sound excellent through amp 3. K10 U sound more organic, with a hefty and strong low end. K10 customs, mine are from a year or so ago, have excellent resolution and great detail. Andromeda have more micro details than either with bottom end approaching the K10u but not quite there. Still they have better high end resolution.
My current favorite with the amp 3 is the Beyerdynamic Xelento, with balanced cables, completely smooth and organic, neutral yet not boring, with a full sound. Really well done.

Actually I have yet to hear any earphone that does not work well with the amp3, those that I can run balanced, at any rate. All were fine with the amp1 as well, but the amp3 is just a bit better all around.

Which balance cable are you using with the Xelento?

Looks good and promising. Surely iBasso is a great company who does listen to the clients and bring out high quality music players at affordable prices.
Another similar company that comes to mind now is Shanling:)

And there is FiiO too, if it is not for these companies...the likes of AKs and Sonys would be robbing us:)
