After some trouble i've installed last revision with zip file. Online it's impossible.
And after i put the firmware from lurker.
I use only tidal. With tidal online sometimes i hear noise and pops. In offline mod is perfect

Make sure You're connected to 5GHz network. 2.4GHz can cause static noise.

And another big bug unsolved. I still can't resume paused track without turning the screen on. Android mode and mango player.

IMG_2392.JPG Yes. I will get another cable.

----------

So my story in the hope it may help others.

Usually it connects. And with the swipe down. (See photo).
I have done several firmware updates already.

But this time it didnt. (And i tried everything).everything.everything...maybe :)

Macbook pro btw.

After messing around with different firmwares already on the card, resets and everything.

What worked was a default setting --which wiped.
i accidently left my micro sd card in (maybe/possibly) and all the music was wiped
- (which ended up good- as i had loaded it up via android file transfer and couldnt see the music when i used a card reader).

So i plugged in a usb card reader.
Copied the file to a blank space.
And updated.
(How i should have done it earlier?- i did try but it didnt work until after the wipe?? I dont know).

Anyway the dx200 updated to the latest firmware.

I reloaded the music on via the usb card reader as i did with the opus dap. So that worked out better.

----------------------
Possible improvements by me :)

So next time.
I will copy the update to another spare micro sd card.
Copy via a usb card reader.
Put it back in and update.

------/-----------------

Possible improvements by iBasso.

-have the firmware able to be updated over the internet. (I tried ).

-have within the settings the above menu seen in the photo. So there is another way to access it.

-------------------------------------

UPDATE

I'd like to see the OTA as an option but I'm generally a more old fashion update offline kinda person - gives me the flexibility of downgrading if needed.

Ota should be great BTW.

My windows laptop is dead. So I had to download through my Chromebook.
Then open the zip file.
Then open the folder.
Read the txt file to ensure all is ok. Then copy the inside zip to USB stick.
Then I did update from that stick through otg.

And guess what? It worked but lot of fear.
Fear during the update, long wait for the update, it semt to freeze at a quarter.
Fear at first boot, too. It took so long on the plashscreen.

Hmm... I noted that in terms of showing time (top corner) the "AM" / "PM" is also missing (if you're not using 24hr format).

Anyway, have reported on the iBasso bug thread.

Android mode (main home screen) only show battery indicator on top corner and no percentage

Hi , right now i'm using 2.1.94-L0 firmware and it works flawlessly, but when i haven't been able to update to 2.2 or 2.3 lurker version by using flash tool
the flash succeeded but when i try to boot up it always display "Unfortunately system UI has been stopped".
i've been trying to factory reset and upgrade into official firmware before flashing lurker firmware but still not working
strangely enough i was able to update to official 2.3 without any problem

anyone experiencing similar problem when installing lurker firmware?
thanks in advance

Hi,'
It is my first post on this fantastic forum.. Unfortunatelly I have a big problem with DX200. After installing the last firmware the device does not re-boot. The screen shows only "DX200 Reference DAP" and that's it . Is there any way to make dx200 working? Thanks in advance for any help
