Well actually I can write easilier than I read, because when I write I use my moronic 3 year old vocabulary and everybody understands, but when reading I am missing maybe 30-40% of characters, so I usually misunderstand. TLDR I can talk to sellers on taobao but cannot really follow the Chinese forums :D

Totally understand. To follow those forums, you have to be between 12 and 16 year old the farther you are from that range the less you will get :D. Actually they have a whole entirely different vocabulary set just like headfi, a normal English speaking person outside of headfi will be so lost in here. For instance: just have any non headfi English speaking person to tell me what this sentence means: AK totl cu with occ Litz is nice but LPG with UPOCC with MMCX has viceral LF

Ibasso really settle problems quick.
Recently some chinese users have reported that the DSD playback have channel reverse problems.
And today they have launched the updated firmware to correct the issue.
Hope they can tackle the responsiveness and lagging  of the Mango system sooner

We are not going to release a product that doesn't sound good. Also here in China there are sites that you have to take with a grain of salt when reading for a few different reasons.

Hello Paul, are there some drivers available to use the DX200 as USB DAC on my computer?

Did you try the drivers for DX80/D14? Actually, they should work, but it might be a problem if the VID/PID pair for DX200 in DAC mode is not listed in the inf file.

Bought the DX200 today in HK.

Play store does not exist so i extract the spotify apk from my s7 and install it manually in dx200.
Firmware update is available, it will change the DFU firmware to fix DSD channel issues.

The sound is familiar to the DX90, but more separation, more clarity, more details, wider sound stage, yet does not get too sharp for my initial impression. For those  who love treble extension, dx200 (or generally iBasso) will not give particular signatures in the treble. However, the bass is well controlled and satisfying. I would also like to add that the iBasso sound signature is considered quite pure but not musical.

Playing while downloading songs in spotify via Wifi does not give any noise for me.

(tested by 1964 A12 with Dita balanced cable with flac files)

I will definitely keep running it with the warm up cable and see how it turns better after 20h or 200h.

@Paul - iBasso :
Only recently found out about this thread I'm working my way through the 152 pages. Can I please ask you (as OP) to take a few minutes to check and update the first post of this thread for newcomers like me and other potential customers? It would be great to see final specs, features, review links and most important updates in that post. Thank you. From what I've read the DX200 is a very promising DAC.

If you need to install playstore apps you can just download the apk and install it.
You can easily find the playstore apk on xda etc.

Downloading Play store apk does not work anymore. (tried, not working)

You need to install Gapps package from opengapps, however it is a zip package to be installed in TWRP or recovery, which the dx200 does not open this feature to public yet.

um..huh?

It's Chinese dude...

If you loved the sound of the....DX90...this is such a huge upgrade in sound it's not even funny. I'm saying that because if it even sounds a "little" like the DX100, you'd be awestruck. iBasso has been a major player in the high end DAP business for quite some time. Hell the DX100 was considered the bar by which all other DAP's were judged for a long time.

Just saying...

Steve from NYC

sorry for the misunderstanding i mean that dx200 is a nice ibasso answer for competitor dap such as onkyo dp-x1which is a japanese DAP,
i'm currently used it but quite dissapointed in the fact that the SE output of onkyo only utilize single dac chip compared to DX200 which use both

I'm seriously considering selling it and switch to dx200 once it landed here
