The capacitors in the first R10 are larger so you get better bass.

Yes it uses both dacs when in single ended. We don't want to waste a dac.

is it possible to try out a unit here in Austria, like a unit which i basso can loan and then we pay and ship to the next person for demo, that would be really great. 1-2 days of audition for each person.
 
i have the dx90 and would really like to upgrade now, but being a student its not easy to just buy or go somewhere to try it out.
