There won't be any updates for Android 6. Android 8.1 is the update and can be loaded with the Beta for 8.1 on our website and then directly to the latest firmware, which does support AMP9.
I apologize for misreading the comment which was not from ibasso. But to be honest after updating to Android 8.1 v1.06 I can heard the improvement of DX200TI’s SQ.
Ordered the AMP9 12 hours ago. Still did not arrive. Why does it take so long ....... So many large aircraft's fly daily between China and Holland, Such a small package.......

I unzipped until I got to the DX200-ota-v1.07.082.zip file, loaded it on my SD card, run Updater, local update, then it fails right away. Package validation fail, check package
@Paul - iBasso any ideas? Also, any word on a fix for DC01 on Galaxy phones?
AMP9 doesn’t sound tubey in the usual sense of the word, it’s not warm and soft, it’s fairly accurate with a lot of detail but its main selling point for me is the analogue signature : it has an incredible dynamic range that smoothens out even compressed music (think anti loudness war filter ) and a Vynil like quality to great recordings, the low level detail is simply incredible and it’s going to sound cliché but you can hear minute details (not as in everything is sharper, but rather everything has more nuances like going from 65000 colors screen to millions of colors).
This makes AMP9 very emotional and it sure makes for a new listening experience of every of my IEMs. It’s simply the best audio buy I have done in a while, stunning...

I didn’t get successfully with SD card updating before too then I used android tool to update with add-on Lurker0 firmware 1.17 for the previous firmware. After that I did use the same Android tool to update to v1.07.082 including the add on Lurker0 1.18.
