Ok I got the tutorial now. But for some reason I cannot get the device to be recognized when I push hold the Play button and connect to USB. Any ideas?

Did you install the driver for the PC and you could try another USB C cable if you have the driver installed. I have a couple of USB C cables that won't work for the update.

Verify that your device is well turned off when you hold the play button.
Also post a screenshot it could help to understand...

Do you guys have the AMP4 randomly powering off your DX200? Yes the DAP is fully charged. It's happened in in both Android mode (Lurker0-ed) and Mango mode. I've just switched back to AMP8 to see if I've regained stability in the DX200.

Edit: Scratch that. It's just happened to AMP8 too. Will try another amp module but suspect it'll happen to that too.

Nope. I have been using the amp4s with DX200TI quite long time but never had such problems. Is your amp4 modded?

Don't know. I got the AMP4 used. Having said that the iBasso sticker looks pretty well sealed/untouched.

There is no load on it, so it won’t even be considered a burn-in

Per above, no load, no burn in. You need the burn in cable that came with the player. If you have a 2.5 TRRS output there with the adapter, then use the burn-in cable. Otherwise some headphones or IEMs at a normal listening volume.

Sure. I have the AMP4S and the difference is noticeable.

Amp8 is much better than amp1 since it brings the musics to another levels by using balanced 4.4 not like balanced 2.5 based on the components built inside the amp.

AMP8's price as a seperate unit is $200, is there an option to choose it instead of the stock amp when ordering to get a discount ? I wouldn't need AMP1 anymore.
