Actually just thinking, what was folks entry to DUNU, what was your first purchase?

I was drooling after the DK4001, and around that time (late 2020) the ZEN was announced, I was smitten and had to buy one - it was the start of my passion for single DDs, and I’ve been through quite a few since. Next up was SA6, and then ZEN PRO, finally VULKAN (which I must actually try on the N7) - I loved them all, DUNU is the absolute benchmark for me in terms of branding, packaging, accessories, and always quality products at reasonable prices - they don’t release every few months, taking care it seems with product lifecycles and R&D - plus of course great customer service in my experience.

Anyway, so how do you DUNU? -

The N7 has been my favorite DAP I have tried this year. It's one of the few I'd consider for a purchase.

Join us!

N7 was an unexpected and one of the best 2023 pick up for me in additional FiR's Rn6. Its definitely been a disruptor in my DAP collection – cementing the natural resolving tonality type of DAP signature that resonates with me – leading to my goodbyes to N8ii, 300MAX SS and M17.

I bought one when it first came out in 2021, also early at least in this recent phase of the hobby - I loved it for general relaxation, very enjoyable with ambient music and fantastic comfort. It fell victim to the Sony IER-M9 which was similar but a big step up - that fell victim to pressure build due to the lack of vents, and I currently don’t own an all BA set… Keen to fix that soon.

Ah, ja – it's very relaxing and enjoyable with N7, smoothing out the treble for me. Not to tangent off DUNU, I'm also seeking an all BA set and cringing at wallet lightening Viking Damascus or Ronin :grimacing:

My DUNU journey actually started with the DK2001 and the fantastic DUW-02 modular cable. Still a fantastic IEM.

Then I found the Alpha 1 earbud, which was/is a great diffuse tuning to be sure (not for everyone mind you). Those things have been available for something like 10 years (I'm sort of guessing here), and I think you can STILL get them (@Sebastien Chiu can correct me if I am wrong here). They were absolutely ahead of their time at that time, having one BA and one DD in an earbud; this was completely revolutionary/innovative IMO. :)

The "smoothing" effect of the N7 is a great thing for DUNU products as they tend to boost the pina region a bit (sometimes too much for my ears because I tend to be sensitive to that area).

My next purchase will be a tough one because on the one hand I really want to try an all BA set from DUNU, and on the other there is a relatively new brand that is putting out TOTL sound at a fraction of the price (comparatively speaking). It is Aur Audio. Both of these companies put out some really really good stuff IMHO.

I will have to confirm about the Alpha 1. This is news to me!

DUNU is pleased to announced that the long awaited S&S and Candy Eartips are now available for purchase at 12.99.

The S&S tips are available in sizes S, M, L and XL and we recommend users go a size down for these.

The Candy Eartips are available in S, M, and L and we recommend users stay true to size.
Thanks Dunu for hearing us out. I'll happily try the XL size.

Titan S. I was wet behind the ears at that time. I remember seeing the Titan S popping up on a thread after watching an interview with Tom from Dunu on YouTube about the Luna. It was the first IEM I blind buy and the first IEM I ever review. Tom and the Titan S convince me to have high expectation when it comes to Dunu IEMs.

I still didn't publish my review on Dunu Titan S. I borrowed it from a friend last year.

Hi @Sebastien Chiu , maybe you meant size up with the S&S tips? 'Coz I'm usually an L but an XL with the S&S tips. Anyway, attaching below the size guide.

Anyway, finally XL tips that are separately available. Gotta say, being one that asked for this since this was introduced and included in the Ultra.
Hi everybody, I need to know if Dunu S&S tips have any lips at the bottom of nozzles? Or is the nozzle tunnel absolutely flat? Thank you very much - these lips have an impact on bass quantity.

I don't see any lips so the tunnel is flat. It would be a bad decision to make some lips as there are too many different nozzles. Just try the S&S. They're very good!
