Hi,
its time to upgrade from my ATH-M50.
any suggestion which is the best?
I like punch bass and clarity at the same time.
my amp is E17.
any suggestion is acceptable!
thanks and cheers!

I would say none of the above; the DT700's are more of a side grade than an upgrade, and the K550's do not have the sound signature you're looking for. If you can afford the K550's at full retail price I would recommend denon d2000's or ultrasone pro 900's instead.

DT770 Pros are very comfy.. They seem pretty neutral to my ears, but I use them with a Yulong D100.. you may want to consider the 80 ohm version if you are using an E17, but I have no experience with how well the E17 can drive headphones of higher impedance. You MAY be able to drive them properly with it. I have used them for 2 years and I handle them pretty roughly, still in great condition.

DT770 Pro-250s. Awesome bass, super comfy, and will sound great out of your E17. I bought mine as an upgrade to my M50s, and they're all I could have hoped for. Cheers.
