...yes, I updated to 1.5.6 first.
Thank you, this has fixed the problem.
May I ask you another question?
Im having some difficulties managing playlists. For example when I make a playlist on my PC I cannot just copy the playlist to my FiioX3 because it has the drive letter. For example D:/music/
So it doesnt work on the X3. I have to open the playlist file in Notepad and edit the D;/ away. This is very time consuming for large playlists. Is there a better more efficient way of managing my music playlists?
Kind regards
Sean,

Why is it that on a Fiio Page it is all about headphones, I have a problem with my X7 only three months old just packed up and wont start!
Anyone got any suggestions as I don't seem to get answers form anywhere, especially the company I bought it off, seems they are not interested once they have the money! Worked fine for three months amazing in fact, but not impressed it died after only 3 months and no way of addressing the problem.

I have an X3 II and created a playlist using M3U Dropper, following the instructions that FiiO supplied. I created lists using both TF1: and A: as the destination drive and placed the playlist in both the root of the SD card and then in a folder called Playlists. With the file in the root, the Playlist category from the menu couldn't find the playlist and , of course, it couldn't be located manually. I could find the file when it was in the Playlist folder using Browse Files list and it did play the way that it was supposed to. While I can certainly dump a bunch of playlist files into that folder and find and use them, the question is why can't they be seen directly from the Playlist category list?

Dear Cal81,
Sorry, the external playlists are not avialable from category.
Best regards
Please do something about the pairing with RM1 on the X5iii. Everytime I pair mine, it scans my bluetooth speaker first, which takes an awful lot of time if the speaker isnt turned on. Please code the pairing ao that it scans the inpu devices first before the speakers. Thanks!

About a year ago I purchased a Fiio X1 first gen and I've used it with great pleasure. Since last week there is a problem: all of a sudden the player no longer supports flac-files. I didn't change anything. How can I solve this?

Thank you for your reaction. I did what you asked but the player still doesn't support flac files and, even worse, no mp3 files either. It looks like only wav-files are supported. Should I go back to firmware 1.1?
