Just bought a pair. they're branded MIniwatt 2A3 but I can't find any informations about those miniwatt and I can't find another identical NOS tube. Do they remind something to someone.

Interesting. They look like Philips' replica of the 40s-50s Sylvania with hanging supports that look like fishing poles. The top mica has a unique, square-ish design. Probably made in the 60s. Tell us how they sound!

Hi. Our better specialist here in France think they were built in early fifties maybe late 40s by Visseaux at Lyon. Sylvania Replica indeed but with specific french parts .. he thinks they sound better than other old NOS ( more clarity , more 3D soundstage , not as warm aa other NOS he heard) . I will tell you... in 5 month though.

I actually have a question regarding connecting two amps together..I soon have a Schiit Ragnarok coming and I'm wondering if it's possible, or a good idea, to connect the stratus to the Ragnarok and then listen to headphones if I want to try tube sound? Or is double amping a no go? Thanks

99.9999% of the time this will destroy a piece of gear. Amps expect line level inputs, and tube amps will output much higher voltages. The Rag might be fine, but i wouldnt risk it.

You don't want to do that: it will change (ruin) the sound of the Stratus. But you can try and find out.

Got my Stratus in on Saturday.  Listening with HD800s and HE6 to the stock tubes on Saturday night was OK but not amazing.   Replaced stock tubes for a GEC 5U4G brown base, pair of Shuguang Nature Sound 2A3C-T, and a soviet 6N1P-EV.  Either the new tubes or confirmation bias is making everything sound exceptional now.
 
Still getting used to it but seems like it could be a keeper for a while. Loving the balanced outputs.

I bet it will sound amazing after it break's in. Did you get a good deal on the Shuguang's? I'm looking to buy some for when my Stratus arrives.

Did you try stock 2A3 with the GEC U52? I think the stock 5U4G is the weak link.
