I have the latest firmware version 1.44, if anyone wants it.
The good news is that a quality case for this player will be available in two months for purchase.
I also have the fw 1.44. The coming case is a great news!

DSD64 files can be played although I don't think it's natively decoded.
What i normally do w/ DSD, I downsample, @ least helps in longer battery life...

Does burn in needed with this DAP? I somewhat find it a little lacking when it comes to high notes, the sparkle thingy. Or is it designed that way?
Interesting, I think that this DAP lacks absolutely nothing, no matter if I use revealing IEMs or smooth and warm sounding ones. May I ask what are your IEMs?
After more than 80 hours playing time (and 3 different firmware), I think that the player sounds as glorious as the 1st time I heard it. No burn-in believer here.

I strongly agree. Today i have tried it with BGVP DM6 and really blown away by DTR 1's performance. But with latest firmware i think battery life improved a bit.

Same feeling about battery life. More than sufficient. Volume tuning is also fixed now. Just the case is missing, but in a few weeks we have it.
