Speaker taps on the D7000. Just...no words

Come on now Mad....you know the Denons need 250 watts of power to really shine:wink:

I did. I didn't notice any real loss of SQ. Used the D7000 off a Lyr, and NFB-5.

Anyone use the Grado extension cable with the D7000's and a decent headphone amp? Any noticeable loss in sound quality?

I use a generic mogami extension sometimes.  (http://www.amazon.com/Mogami-Gold-EXT-25-Headphone/dp/B0016ZTKIQ)  similar to that link.  I never notice any change in sq among any of my phones with it.

I would probably wait for another person to confirm, but that sounds like a pretty good deal! Usually they go for $150-$250 more than that depending on condition and mods (extra for custom cups).

so what's a good/fair price for these used? there's one for sale locally that is $600/obo.

$600 is as low as I've ever seen. Usual range is $650-800. Does it have Lawton mods ?
