Saw that a bit earlier, but they are currently out of stock.  Maybe later--as they went in and out of stock in a similar situation with the D7000.

Thanks, tried to use code but EE just ran out of D5000 stock. Considering with code if EE get's more stock, would others care to advise me as to with my setup for movies mostly through my Denon 989 amp; if cost premium $235-$390 D2000-D5000 is worth it? Or as someone else advised here to get the D7000 but they never posted price/vendor.

The D7000 is usually at EE (open box) for somewhere around $570 last I remember.

Open box at EE is showing $399. Amazon is NIB w/ free shipping  for $476. Not sure if EE has free shipping on that but that's not much difference. ??

Quick question for any d5k owners in this thread... assuming you could get the d5k for under $400, and the Senn hd650 for about $350, which would you guys consider to be the best overall quality item?
 
If you had to pick one of those two to live with for the next year or so (or for a lifetime), which would you choose?

Thanks for the Amazon heads up. Just snagged D5000 for [size=small]$382.76  on Amazon via E-expo. Now I need to decide which order to cancel. 2000 for $235 or 5000 for $382.[/size]

Honestly, i would get both. Theres some music that sound beautiful through my hd650's and then theres some music that sounds awesome on my buddies d5k. Its a tough choice. basically its like saying whats better, a car or a truck? It all depends on your listening needs and you will be primarily listening to.

You're awesome for trying to help... but if someone asks for help deciding between two headphones, it's because they're working with a limited budget.
 
I'm trying to decide between these too and it's friggin hard... any help would be appreciated. I just don't want to regret the purchase later on... or maybe it wont' matter either way I don't know.
