I think the original poster got rid of these a while ago, and found a replacement set of headphones already - but I may be mistaken. This thread is relatively old (9/2012), FWIW.
If I'm mistaken feel free to correct me - lol.
As far as lee's point - I think that's pretty much what'd happen, assuming they were still under warranty (and that Denon would somehow turn a blind-eye to the destruction - generally that kind of damage, no matter how it's caused, is not covered by a warranty), you'd probably get AH-D600s in the mail. *shrug*
