I used to read Headfonics quite alot while I was still on the journey, until I realized how garbage of a source they are. They even have scoring guide: https://headfonics.com/how-we-score/

• 1-5 – basically broken or very bad
• 5-6 – poor
• 6-7 – average
• 7-8 – good
• 8-9 – excellent
• 9-10 – world-class

Which is utterly meaningless. If almost everything is excellent than nothing truely is.

I'm really dissapointed he didn't go for a chi-fi earphone to retune. The plethora of driver combinations available would have been less limiting.

I think Crin wanted to keep the collab on a low cost for many reasons, like be more accessible so more people will know him and people that knows him may give Fiio a try for a low cost. Like he did with moondrop. win-win.

I would say he's getting to Tyll's level (highest regarded reviewer ever). Which is worth checking out. Audio reviews are generally a waste of time for me. His commending style might be too sharp for audiences in this hobby, but he's just telling it like how it is. I always liked Tyll's dialog style (particularly, his early stuff. There were some golden moments.), but Crin's style is totally different. Not my style, but most importantly, he's telling you his thoughts.

I hope he keeps developing his objective and subjective aspect of his reviews.

A little harsh on Traillii i would say It's a ridiculously overpriced, but still a great iem, but whatever, that is his opinion and A+ is still a very good rating.
