Good to hear from you after an online blackout
Thought you were in some tube expedition in Ukraine :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
Mostly just busy and I am sticking to a couple threads. Some of my latest work.

You took your carpentering skills to the next level as the rack is a serious "Schiit" woodwork :beerchug:

Wow this is impressive, @bcowen is in luck being on the receiving side of your artwork (The sideway Incubus and now the rack). :xf_cool:
There is some magical attraction in every well finished wood piece.

He has always treated me well with vacuum tubes as have other friends so this is my small way of thanking him. I also just used up some parts and built my last two pairs of mini radial speakers. I have two vintage turntables on the way as well as a vinyl collection. I need the space to refurb said tables and run the vinyl through my ultrasonic cleaning system.

Would really appreciate the photos of the turntables once in progress. I believe it should be some heavy wood for stability.

There are several ways to go about it, here I used one inch thick birdseye maple and the lower portion of the plinth is filled with potters plaster, then sand. I later set the whole table on a granite slab after a great deal of cushioning. IMG_5966.jpeg
