Um... yes if what yer after is a small footprint 90g mp3 player that fits in yer pocket and can last 100hrs before recharge lol.

Dumb comparison, Dell will sell a heap of these because more consumers will be after a laptop than a mp3 player. You can't compare different technology products against each other. Compare a laptop against a laptop, a phone against a phone and a DAP vs a DAP.
 
Mp3 players will always be overpriced because guess what.. their sale numbers will suck compared to phone, tablet and computer sales. That's just how it is... minority market = higher prices.

You guys pay $1,000 for 'high resolution' USB cables and audio cables only because they're made for "Audiophiles" 
and you guys willing to pay $250 for portable machines which have less engineering and UI than a tablet which costs $100. 
 
All of these obscure chinese DAPs have worse engineering, UI, touchscreen than a nexus tablet which I bought for $90 on Amazon lol.
 
These AK guys are obviously targeting you all and charging $2500 for a device which has worse engineering than an $80 smartphone. 
This is a minority market, yes but that shouldn't justify all of these overpriced devices. 
 
This smartphone which I have purchased for $50 has a better touchscreen, design, UI, CPU, Wifi than iBasso DX100 ($700), HM901 ($900), AK240 ($2400).
