Review Vs CD version of the same recording

Before the DSD RQR remaster i had the CD original by Phillips 1991 Mozart edition digital download.

The DSD recording is made from direct analogue Tape transfer using DSD 64x (2.8824MHz). The overall sense of ambience is pretty well rendered, the reverb feels natural, pentatone engineers did mention they used Reverb effects to recreate the original ambience present on the Tapes, well done IMHO, the reverb doesn't feel artificial at all, very very natural decay, the iar between the instruments very well feeling of their air and separation between them well done and well spread, the organ doesn't over power them, especially the trumpets. The Organ has this nice presence, the wood pipes can be heard easily without pumping the volume up, and the Bass registers hell never heard this Bass so low, damn low, like those very Tall and Huge organ pipes bass that shake the church, not is was not artificla bass bosst nor rumbling bass, just very LOW notes i never heard with the CD version.

In summary the recording for DSD feels pretty natural no signs of Treble boost as with the CD version, no crunched soundspace, kudos to Pentatone

Hello ... You can put me in here, just another lover of "Classical" Music.
I could say that I like music from any period, but my preferences goes from Medieval, Renaissance and above all, Baroque. Despite this, as I said, I'm happy listening Mozart, Mahler, or Pärt.

And this is what I´m listening at the moment:

Very good album in all what it matters: interpretation and sound. Terrífic!

But, notice that this performance is into OVP style. It works for me nicely, very, but I understand that some people don´t like this vision about performing J.S. Bach´s music.
