Yes the volume colour range is from lowest browny red through all the colours of the rainbow to blue , indigo and finally white . Green is the safe volume starting position about one third up on the volume scale.

For anyone in Hong Kong, some of the shops here are offering the Hugo for the equivalent of 1,135 UKP as an early adopter price for a limited time.  There's no sales tax in HK as well.

Just noticed a fundamental issue with the physical design of the Hugo.  The ports are not sealed so dust gets in the unit easily.  Since it uses a see through glass porthole up top we will be able to admire the dust and fluff that will accumulate over time.  Take a look at your usb ports on the Hugo there are massive gaps around the port.  They should change the design to seal these off to prevent dust and fluff.

I think these must be earlier metalwork with smaller RCAs access but who cares there are now some great cables that fit and it's a great deal!
