That's the weird part- I had fully charged Mojo and Poly this morning. Both units were shining a blue light but Poly got down to blinking red just a few hours later, while Mojo was still blue.
After a search, there are quite a few posts about the Poly battery draining faster, plus quite a few old posts about the Poly exhibiting strange behaviour by looking dead, but after 5 minutes charging the blue light reappears indicating full charge.

If your Poly battery is draining so fast, when not in use playing music, I am wondering if you have accidently left the Poly signalling via wifi or bluetooth, and this has drained the battery.

Poly prioritises charging Mojo

Thanks for the above, will investigate. Poly and Mojo were purchased at the same time as part of the gift pack. It's the first time this has happened- Poly gone with Mojo still having a blue light.

This was after about 2 hours of music playback directly after a full charge.

Is anyone having success connecting the Poly to Qobuz?

I have my Poly set up in regular WiFi mode, connected to my LAN. Play mode is ‘Everything Else’ and my Qobuz credentials are properly set in the ‘User Settings’ screen (yes, I have more than triple checked that ).

In 8player I now see 2 servers. One shows the content of my SDcard. The other shows a Qobuz directory. I can enter to find several sub directories. However, as soon as I come to Albums, Artists, Playlists or Tracks, the fun ends with an error indicating that I cannot log in. If I tab the three dots next to the error, a warning pops up telling me to disable ‘DRM Check’ in the settings. Which already is disabled...
In fact, if I deliberately enter an incorrect password in GoFigue the behavior is the same!

I really do not know where to look further for solutions. Very much hope someone can assist in getting this working. Many thanks up front!

My first thought is that you should be able to stream Qobuz, using a suitable app, but that you are instead trying to play offline files, and those are blocked for all third-party apps because of DRM issues. (see the Poly FAQ https://chordelectronics.co.uk/faqs-products/poly/ - specifically the question 'HOW DO I CONNECT TO AND PLAYBACK TIDAL AND QOBUZ CONTENT USING GOFIGURE?'). There is also the question 'I WANT TO STREAM MUSIC FROM TIDAL OR QOBUZ ON MY ANDROID DEVICE TO POLY, HOW CAN I DO THIS?'.

Also Qobuz updated their code in October, causing authentication to stop working. I am not sure if the bugfix has been distributed, but the issues still existed on Nov 20th.

Are you using iPhone or Android?

Thanks a lot!

That is what I am trying to achieve; stream Qobuz from the Poly through the Mojo to my headphone and using some iPhone app for remote.

It seems plausible that the Qobuz code change causes the authentication to fail. Unless other people are having succes with their Qobuz access still.

Suppose I’ll have to hold my breath and wait for an update to the GoFigure app then...

Best regards to all!

I will post again later, but i am cooking my supper at the moment.
I cannot find any later reference to the Qobuz bugfix after Nov 20th, so best to assume for the moment, that no further news available.
@Matt Bartlett probably knows the latest status, but he is on a well deserved Christmas break at the moment, so don't be disappointed if he cannot respond for a few days.

Hi @EvdM
Seasons greetings!
Yes as Mike has mentioned there is an authentication issue with Qobuz through Gofigure at the moment. We received an update from Qobuz just before Christmas and as soon as we get back we will be testing and then updating the firmware for Poly to include their new code. In the mean time the MConnect will still allow you to play Qobuz.

Thank you very much Matt! I will patiently wait for the firmware update to surface.

NB Not quite sure I understand this; what would be the advantage of playing Qobuz through MConnect instead of using the standard Qobuz app on IOS?

To play qobuz via the app on poly you are limited to standard res due to airplay limitations.
Mconnect turns poly into a network renderer and you can send hi res content to poly.

Hi All,

Really sorry if I've missed a thread on this already. I searched extensively but to no avail so here goes...

My New Poly indexes the full 400GB card with 250GB of music on it every time it turns on. This can't be right, but I've no idea what to do - it's taking well over an hour to index too. I can watch files appear really slowly. The GoFigure app and the multicoloured blinking confirms the unit is indexing.

I'm using a 400GB Sabra's disk formatted as ExFAT and I have no play lists on the card yet. It even started indexing again when I switched to hotspot mode triggering a reboot.

Any ideas any please?

What version of the firmware is Poly using?
There was an indexing bug many months ago, but the latest versions of the firmware don't suffer from it.

Thanks for the response.. 2.0.4 which is the latest I think?
Yes, that is the latest version.

Can you check your SD card using a PC, because you have the symptoms of insufficient room on the card?

See the Poly FAQ https://chordelectronics.co.uk/faqs-products/poly/
Then select 'HOW DO I UPDATE POLY, WHAT IS THE LATEST POLY FIRMWARE VERSION AND WHAT IMPROVEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE?'
And at the bottom of the answer is the section '1.06 update includes:'
Bullet point 8 reads 'SD card database management improvements: If the SD card has space for database then the database will be stored on the SD. Therefore, Poly will only index the SD once, if the content has not changed. If there is insufficient space on the SD card, then the database will be created each time Poly is switched on.'

If the SD card is ok and has enough room, then we can search a bit deeper for you.

It's a 400gb card with only 260gb music but just ran a r/w test.... 2.4 wright and 6 read! .. What on earth? that's going back to Amazon. Just installed my old 128 card, indexed in minutes and didn't reindex after powering..

Thanks for your help. Now to explore the works of DSDs and DFF files..... I'll be back!
Glad that's sorted out for you.
Try and copy files in small batches to SD cards, because they can overheat and fail.
