Anyone else have the weird problem of frequent drop-outs of roon internet radio, (even low res radio stations), yet fairly reliable connection for roon tidal? (And all other roon functionality).

Annoying, as requires switching from "roon" to "everything else" mode (and back again), every time I want to listen to the radio....

A new twist after consistent performance with my Poly. I replaced my Mojo battery yesterday following these steps. After completing the swap, I reconnected the Mojo to the Poly to test that all functions worked properly. I then charged the Mojo separately for ten hours and then reconnected the Mojo to the Poly last night for an overnight charge of both units.

This morning, Gofigure failed to connect. When I first booted up the MojoPoly, the P light flashed blue and green before going dark. I am now charging the Poly separately in case the Mojo consumed power from the Poly. Seems unlikely as the Mojo had the full ten hour charge.

Any thoughts what may be going on and what to do?

A few hours later...

After charging the Poly alone for just two hours and reconnecting it to the Mojo, all is working well and (surprisingly) with a full battery. Very strange.

Hi @Stourmead
Apologies I couldn't get back to you sooner. I've just checked this and you are correct currently it is not possible to log in to the Qobuz server. Nothing has changed on our side so we will talk to Qobuz tomorrow to find out what is wrong. In the mean time as @Progisus mentioned MConnect should work as it has an alternative way on logging in to Qobuz. Don't use the Poly media server connection but instead use the direct Qobuz link in Mconnect library options.

Hi Matt
any update on the native Qobuz support or is that option kyboshed for the time being?

Hi everyone,

I just received my new poly to play with mojo today, but I had an issue with connecting Gofigure. To be short, Gofigure couldn't recognize my Poly at all in the Wizard process with both the poly and my iPhone's Bluetooth & GPS on. Later the config page showed no firmware #, it only showed '2016' at the bottom of the page. So I assumed my Poly has the oldest firmware.
Now my questions are: How can I update the mojo without Gofigure? Right now, each time I turn on the Poly, the P-status repeats: red, blue, green for about only 30 seconds, then it turns to the stable color to indicate the battery %.
I tried to use the pin to switch to the firmware mode many times based on the online manual, but I could only switch between the network mode and the access mode.

Thank you very much!

Kevin

Have you managed any progress with updating your Poly?
The early firmware versions (until v 1.0.41) used automatic updating, which needed the owner to leave the Poly connected to the internet, and the Poly would automatically connect to the Chord server then download the update (if needed). The owner then needed to switch off the Poly, and then reboot it, in order to install the new firmware. The progress through this process was indicated by which sequence of lights was flashing and which colour. It was always difficult for owners to watch the Poly status lights for hours on end, in order to monitor the progress, and so there were posts about poly downloading the update without the owner being aware - one knock-on effect that the poly had not yet been rebooted to enable the update to be completed.

After version 1.0.43 the update is requested by the owner using gofigure, and this makes the process more predictable/intuitive for many owners.

The firmware versions are explained in more detail in this FAQ, under the heading 'HOW DO I UPDATE POLY, WHAT IS THE LATEST POLY FIRMWARE VERSION AND WHAT IMPROVEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE?'

If you are still experiencing issues, then there are plenty of owners on this thread who will be glad to advise.
The alternative is to contact Chord support via their website, or email them on support@chordelectronics.co.uk and someone will be able to talk you through the update process.
