I know this is also - not worth saying but I used the random Track feature on glider for first time, with my nearly full 400gb sd card. it spun up a massive mpd playlist that I could scan forward through and see what was on it and stuff. Had a doze on and off while listening - was great.

I have never really used just one app and the times that I did, it was onkyo.

I have never really taken MP outside, I have but briefly, and the times that I used it inside, at that time all the apps had their problems, so I just rotated through them every now and then.

So apart from onkyo, I couldnt say that I prefer x over y, however, I am going to start using only glider and I shall see how that goes.

Mpdluxe, it was a very brief affair, I tried to add all my tunes into a single playlist in one go and it really did schiit the bed, so its always been a non runner for me.

Dont get me wrong, I do hit shuffle etc when using my apps, it was just mpdluxe i had the problem with, cant recall if that even has a shuffle feature ? I bought it, put in the address, tried to make a playlist and boom, tried deleting and redownloading 3 times, after that I realised I wasted 2 quid because I will never use it again.

Cant recall if this has been asked and answered before ?

Glider, why does it allow the volume to be turned down via my iphone ? I thought the volume was fixed and could only be turned dowwn by mojo ?

For those who needed to replace your poly under warranty were you able swap out in retail or did you work directly with chord?

Mine has no M status light and will not connect to WiFi. Bluetooth works though when no wifi networks are stored in it's memory.

You can troubleshoot it with chord, then they’ll probably tell you to take it to your dealer, who they (chord) then also contact to arrange its return to them for fixing or that’s what happened In my case.

Thanks ! I don't think they can troubleshoot the non-functional LED light. I'd been in contact with them before, no advice about the wifi connection issue as it previously connected and played but stopped.

I was wondering about that recently. When I bought the unit the m-status light was working, but at some point, can't remember when, it got super dim, and then at some point it just stopped working.
It does connect to WiFi and BT, and just never hit me that I should do something about the light. Figured it was just one of those fading/failing things.

I’m using port 6600, I can’t remember if this was default or if I changed it.

No good. I'm using hybrid hotspot mode (also tried wifi) and I consistently can't connect. Is the port controlled by my router and if so, how do I find it?

Hello Verizon?

Mine has always been defective. I didn't realize it was supposed to do anything until reading some posts here about it.

There isn't an actual light there - its a short piece of optical fibre routing the Mojo's light to the Poly M light hole - and it can get dislodged/knocked out of alignment.

If you look back I don`t know how many posts (lots of them) search for pictures maybe, I have shown my Poly case open with the light ''tube'' and how I kinda fixed it to stay in place. It`s Mojo`s light going through. Since then I totally replaced the part with a piece of optical fiber cut to dimension form a regular optical cable. Much better! Mine was displaced as it arrived.

I don't know how different the consumer laws are in Japan, but in the UK, I returned it to the shop who swapped it there & then.

M status is mojo’s light, mojos light travels via a light pipe/fibre optic from mojo to poly and to m status, it is not a physical light on poly, its just mojos light.

Mines is slightly out of place also, but it still shines, but only 1/2 to 3/4s

Might actually do the fibre optic mod, if its better than the default pipe.

What I think maybe happening and I am not sure, in one of the pics I saw tape holding the pipe to the inside of polys case.

If that is how it comes from chord, if the light dims or disappears, the only thing I can think of is the heat from poly and possibly mojo, the heat may make the tape dry up and come loose and the pipe may fall out of place ?

If the pipe isnt held in place by tape then forget the above.

Use whichever IP address is advertised in the GoFigure settings. Your IP address will change depending on which mode you use for the Poly.
Standard port for MPD is 6600
