Well, I guess this is a bit of overestimation. Happy I would say were maybe 2 or 3 posters.
In my case accessing Tidal via Poly is far less convenient and stable than via Bubble. And strangely enough, Bubble seems to be more stable now than mconnect was previously, with mconnect being just next to useless for me at the moment. Maybe I need to reinstall it.
But there is in fact some vague but noticeable change in the sound. Clarity comes to mind when trying to describe it.
As for Poly, in my opinion it is still not there. Maybe not an alpha, but it's mid-beta now. I wonder how it will look and feel in production phase.
What app was your screen shot from / it looked nice ?

Edit: Aaand, Matt, any ideas why update goes smoothly only when you disobey the rules? I've spent 4 hours yesterday powercycling, before SD card did it in 5 minutes. This is strange, isn't it?

Well I'm hoping there are more than 2 or 3 members who are happier now....

As for the update working when you disobey the rules then that's what we have been investigating and working on since yesterday. If the SD card is inserted during the firmware update then there is a risk the files will be loaded to the card instead of Polys internal memory. This would mean if you remove the SD card then Poly would no longer work.
In our test roll out phase we did not see any similar issues which is why we are checking again now.

Don't mind me please. I am just being sarcastic. Happens to frustrated people
My Poly is one of the first out there, as I preordered it. Maybe it's hardware related. Happy to provide you with any data you might need.

Matt, I did not update it with the SD card in. I did not get the color flashing.

Then, I pushed it in, the four flashes recognized it, and then I took it out. Then, the update followed.

Strange, but it worked.

Peter, was your Poly a swapped out Poly from the first batch that were slow to power on? Or was it the original? I did not have to resort to inserting the SD card, but my Poly is a replaced unit. Maybe that is the difference?

I successfully made it to 2.0 (not too much trouble getting there) but now my apps are not working well. I'm on an iPhone and Glider was always a bit unreliable for me- when it worked, it worked great, but when it didn't I went to 8Player which worked without fail.

Since the upgrade, Glider doesn't see the Poly as MPD (Mojo/Poly icon) and only finds it as DLNA (iPhone icon) but only after I go to "More Devices". Hi-res recordings are mixed- sometimes they play, other times not as hi-res. 8Player launches and appears to play, but there is no audio output.

I downloaded Mconnect Lite and it plays fine but does not always auto advance to the next track.

I may also get different reactions between wifi and hot spot modes as I recall better performance with Mconnect earlier today when I was using hotspot mode.

Are any other iPhone users getting similar reactions? I know Glider was very popular when it was under active development (it is my understanding that Joe may have, unfortunately, left the scene). Are others getting good performance from Glider or other apps in 2.0? Are there other apps folks might suggest?
My Iphone apps are flaky too I was primarily using Glider but now Mconnect seems to work better.

Hi Matt,

Are the servers back online? I have been unable to update to v2.0, the iPad app closes once you click upgrade but nothing happens, and the Android version keeps saying the upgrade failed.

I hope I can have v2.0 today, because I can read a lot of happy persons enjoying a better Poly!

For offline content then no there isn't a better way at the moment. At some point we hope Tidal will allow offline content using other methods.
Hey @mattbartlett, the update is a huge step forward thanks for the hard work and dedication. My install went smoothly. I have a question about the Tidal login screen under the user tab.
1. What does it do
2. I attempted to add my Tidal login information and I was repeatedly told the PW needed to be more than 2 characters (which it is). I finally gave up

1. It allows you to see and search your Tidal/Qobuz library through a DLNA app.
2. Did you select the correct quality settings? If you don't select the quality then you will get an error with the password.
