Does anyone else experience clicks between tracks when switching sample rates?

Streaming Qobuz. I'll try it with local. Odd thing is I appears in one channel on balanced and in the center on 3.5mm.

@Andykong
Sometimes my N7 Bluetooth turn on by itself. Is it a known bug ?
Last time happened when I put it down to charge
I already installed the latest firmware

Also, can I change music volume from Hibycast ?

Thanks
@Andykong maybe you missed my questions earlier

Oh dear, a post from 2 weeks ago. Yes, I have missed that.

No, my N7 never turns on the Bluetooth by itself. If you have turned off Bluetooth from the pull-down menu or setup menu, this shouldn't happen. If you can, please take a video or photo of the Bluetooth setting from the Pulldown menu BEFORE and AFTER can report the case to your dealer.

May I suggest to all readers:
  • When you put my name on the first line of a post, you will limit your chance of getting a response from other users, a lot of users will hesitate to chime in when you designated the post to ONE person, especially when the person is the brand rep.
  • I try to cover all the posts and requests whenever possible, but my role is Marketing, and customer support is not my main responsibility. The dealer is ALWAYS your first point of contact for repair, service, and support, or you can email Cayin at service@cayin.cn (for warranty and repair service) and info@cayin.cn (for technical information) if you fail to receive appropriate support from your dealer. I try to be helpful, but I don't want to become your bottleneck and downgraded your experience with Cayin

Well, because of people like you that take everything too seriously :) , I am going to rephrase and leave the simile outside the review.
Let's just say that it is very responsive and offers great user experience for a DAP!
Well I have nothing to add if I'm not supposed to take a review at face value. If I have to add grains of salt to your reviews then it's no longer a review, it's a story?

Anyway to sum things up, N7 offers roughly the same performance as my 3 year old snapdragon 660 DAP, which is old both in DAP-years as well as flagship Android-years.

I can't imagine 120Hz is a significant advantage when we are using an app that doesn't have to refresh the screen very often. Apps like Cayin Music Player, UAPP, Neutron, Tidal, ....

In fact, we have considered and tested a "better" 2K screen with our DAPs before we commit to the FHD screen, we honestly didn't notice any advantage on the higher resolution and higher refresh rate with the music apps. On top of a higher BOM cost, the 2K screen drains battery a lot faster than the FHD screen. That's the main reason why we stick with a 60Hz FHD screen instead of a 2K 120Hz screen
And that's absolutely fine! I don't need flagship phone visual gimmicks in an audio device, I prefer more battery life. I just wanted to point out modern flagship phones have moved far beyond what Snapdragon 660-665 era phones could accomplish and his statement is misinformation in its purest form.

Doesn’t the volume buttons of your android device make the volume on the N7 change while using HibyCast app on it ?
Beware of what I told earlier if you try that, it may jump the N7 volume level directly to your android‘s device own volume level !

What I mean is some buttons or menu on the Hybicast to change N7 volume.
Using phone's volume buttons to change N7 volume doesn't make sense to me, and like you said could be dangerous.

Yes I know what you mean, I was searching exactly for the same features on HibyCast app yesterday as it has been mentioned on the N7 page on Cayin’s website :

... but as you, I didn’t find another way to change N7‘s volume remotely than with the phone’s own volume buttons.
I hope there is / will be a better way to do it without risking damages on ears / iems.

Do you have a DAP that offers better performance?
Because of the two flagships I compared in the review, the N7 is the snappier.

OK, I am sorry that I don't have a 2K flagship phone to compare and I was comparing to my mediocre Xiaomi.

Strangely from a 2K words review the only thing you had to comment was about the flagship phone.

I removed it, now let's move along.
